Daffodils!

It’s my favorite time of year — my daffodils are blooming!

I just love these Marieke daffodils. They have doubled in three years, plus they are enormous and fragrant. Most daffodils don’t have a scent or are kind of smelly, but Marieke smells sweet. They also last longer than my other daffodils as a cut flower, which makes me super happy.

I was going to cut down that cherry tree in my yard this year because it has under performed the last two years, but this year….. well, let’s just say I will not be going George Washington on it this season after all:
