April Lessons – General Conference, Isaiah, Jeremiah

I just can’t do it all :) This blog is proof positive of that. The house has been cleaner, I’ve been making bread and cooking more often, spent the week of spring break working on the new website and keeping up with the kids’ stuff, but something had to give. Naturally, it was the blog, I suppose. General Conference I did do a review for general conference again this time. I made up a General Conference Q&A sheet from the notes I took from the 4 main sessions (I didn’t attend Priesthood, and didn’t try to get anything from the stuff online because of time). General Conference and Seminary Review

Wasn’t general conference great this weekend? Best in a long while for me. I really enjoyed all the talks. I tried to help get #ldsconf to trend again this year, but some of our main DC Mormon tweeters were out of commission for various reasons. Basically, it was just me MormonShare and Lady Ozma. Couldn’t do it this year. I feel pretty confident it was all the football related tweets going on that threw off the trending stats. Next time. Anyway, had the kids write their conference questions. 1 lost her card and asked questions from the Saturday session. 3-4 didn’t bring questions at all. So, nearly a 50% fail rate. Tweeting General Conference

I didn’t get to tweet as much for general conference this year as I did last — spent the day Saturday working on the websites, and then discovered late that evening there was a conference in New York I should be at, so I spent this afternoon traveling by bus to the Big Apple. I tried to retweet as much as possible, but the internet access on the bus was wonky. I think someone must have been trying to view a movie. Grrrr. I found my way to the hotel somehow.
