My fabulous friend, Jaime, is a convert to the church and has always wanted to go to Temple Square in Salt Lake City. So, when she finally saw it for the first time her excitment couldn’t be contained. Luckily I captured it in this photo! When I see her jump for joy at merely the sight of the temple, I’m reminded of how I should feel EVERYTIME I see and/or go to the temple. This is a great reminder of the joy that comes from living a virtuous life going to the temple!

This document has little tags that can be attached to small mirrors as a lesson handout. Here’s what Shannon says: “I purchased each girl a small cosmetic mirror (or a compact mirror would work) from the 99 Cent Store. I then cut out each handout and glued them to the back of the mirrors with a glue stick. I tied a few ribbons around the handle just to girlie them up. The mirrors are used in the beginning of the lesson so the girls can see thier reflecitons as you ask them some questions. Then the quote on the back is used later on in the lesson.”

Has space for youth to fill in things that give temporary happiness, lasting joy, and has a quote from Harold B. Lee: “Happiness does not depend on what happens outside of you but on what happens inside of you.”
This handout was submitted by Lindsay S. to accompany lessons on peace and happiness. The quote by Marion G Romney reads: “The sure way to peace and happiness in this life and life hereafter is to serve the Lord today and every day.”
