I took a series of photographs of the new Young Women bookmark for use in creating handouts and class printables.
Kris submitted this idea for getting the attendance of Young Women and Primary leaders and having it submitted back to the RS Secretary for recording.
Kris says, “I made this for myself to use so that I could collect the names of the Sisters, it just helps when things get busy and saves getting scraps of paper with Sisters names and no other relevant details. … I also included a R/Soc Logo on the bookmark so that it was easily recognizable to be returned to Relief Society by YW/Primary. (Also if it was misplaced along the way, hopefully some kind soul would return it to Relief Society).”

This is the bookmark suggested by YW Manual 2, Lesson 42, Gratitude and Appreciation. It has the quote from the lesson, “Happiness is a Thankful Heart,” along with the ideas from the lesson on ways to show gratitude.
3 color bookmarks per page.
This handout was submitted by Annette M., who used this as a New Beginnings handout. During New Beginnings, girls sat down with their parents and made two goals for each of the seven values. They wrote thier goals on the Personal Progress Goals bookmark for the girls to keep in their scriptures. Parents received a Reminder Card they could stick on the refrigerator to help them remind their YW to keep pursuing their goals during the year.
I think this would make a fun Mommy and Me or Daddy-Daughter Mutual Personal Progress activity, too.
4 per page, color.
This is a handout of 4 bookmarks that I printed on cardstock. It has the Loren C. Dunn quote from the LDS Young Women’s Manual 2, Lesson 25: The Law of Sacrifice, and some others, along with a picture of the Ultimate Sacrifice–Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane.

This handout was submitted by A. Wheeler. Thanks!
It has quote from Mosiah 5:2 “..because of the Spirit of the Lord Omnipotent, which has wrought a mighty change in us, or in our hearts, that we have no more disposition to do evil, but to do good continually.” along with a red heart with the words Love, Tenderness, Dedication, and Trust inside it. Very cute!
This is a handout another leader made for YW Man 3 Lesson 2. She used the clipart image from this website called Jesus Christ: Uplifted Face.
This bookmark was created by another Young Women’s leader for Manual 3 Lesson 1. The file is not suitable for printing, but it is provided for inspiration.
This is a picture of a stained glass representation of Joseph Smith viewing Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ along with the text of the Hymn “O My Father”.
I don’t know where she got the image.
These cute bookmarks were submitted by S. Hayes. They have a quote from Teachings of the Prophets of the Church: David O. McKay, Chapter 15, Experiencing Happiness in Marriage that reads:
- “The poorest shack in which love prevails over a family is of greater worth to God and future humanity than any other riches. In such a home, God can and will work miracles.”
5 per page, black and white.
Here is the Young Women’s Theme, with a light background image of the YW torch. This would make a helpful handout for girls and leaders trying to learn the theme.
Please let me know if you find a typo – the program I use to make clip art doesn’t have a spelling checker.
3 color bookmarks per page.
